In 2019 LeRoy Walters had a vision: move to Western North Carolina and open a small business that connected cycling, community, coffee, beer, and local artisans.

Two years later, Earth Mountain Bicycle was born. LeRoy and his wife Caitlin reached out to Caitlin’s father-in-law, Jim, and her Mom, Dana who owns Pee Dee Bicycle in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. After several months of collaborating, they created their vision. Earth Mountain is the exclusive Trek Retailer for Brevard and is conveniently located in the heart of town on Main Street.

Earth Mountain is the physical culmination of our love for the planet, the drive to build community, and the overall goal of getting more people on bikes. At Earth Mountain we strive to promote all types of cycling including gravel riding, commuting, mountain biking, bike packing, and social riding. Through community and local government engagement, we hope to promote more bike infrastructure to include more bike lanes, bike parking, rails to trails, and trail access for all riders.
